Pablo Reche, músico nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina, que trabaja en el campo de la música experimental. Utiliza el ruido como su principal elemento estético-expresivo. En sus puestas sonoras alterna piezas basadas en grabaciones de campo junto a la manipulación de distintas fuentes sonoras y efectos.

Comienza su trabajo a fines de los años 90s, en el año 2000 es seleccionado finalista en la categoría Música, de la Bienal de Arte Joven de Buenos Aires, durante ese mismo año edita su primer CD en el prestigioso sello Gracia Territori Sonor de Barcelona y es invitado a presentarse en el Festival Sonar de la misma ciudad.

Ha editado varios CDs y tracks en compilados de distintos sellos musicales de Argentina, Latinoamérica y Europa. Ha realizado conciertos, e instalaciones sonoras en Argentina, España, Portugal, Chile, Perú, Uruguay, Canadá y Holanda.

Pablo Reche, musician born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, works in the field of experimental music. His sound productions juxtapose pieces based on field recordings with the manipulation of distinct sound sources, using the noise as the principle aesthetic-expressive element.

He start his work at the end of the ’90. In the year 2000 he was selected as a finalist in the music category of Buenos Aires’s Biennial of Youth Art. During this same year he released his first CD on the prestigious label Gracia Territori Sonor of Barcelona and he is invited to perform at the Sonar Festival in the same city.

He has released various CDs and tracks on compilations from different music labels of Argentina, Latin America and Europe. He has performed concerts and sound installations in Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Canada, and Holland.

Trabaja en el campo de la música experimental. En sus puestas sonoras, alterna piezas basadas en grabaciones de campo junto a la manipulación de distintas fuentes sonoras, utilizando el ruido como elemento estético-expresivo principal. 

En el año 2000 edita su primer CD, en el sello catalán, Gracia Territori Sonor, y es convocado para presentarlo en el Festival Sonar de Barcelona. 

Su música ha sido editada en distintos sellos musicales de Argentina, Latinoamérica y Europa. Ha realizado conciertos, e instalaciones sonoras en Argentina, España, Portugal, Chile, Perú, Uruguay, Canadá y Holanda. 

Participó en prestigiosos festivales nacionales e internacionales como Sónar (Barcelona), Experimentaclub (Madrid), Observatori (Valencia), LEM (Barcelona), Vibra (Lima), Fobia (Chile), Ai-maako (Chile) y Mutek (Montreal). 

Ha compuesto piezas musicales por encargo, para obras teatrales y distintas compañías de danza contemporánea. 

Ha editado piezas y conciertos en colaboración con prestigiosos músicos como Zbigniew Karkowski, Christof Kurzmann, Gunter Muller, Jason Kahn, Cornucopia, Juan José Calarco y Alan Courtis.

"Conexión EP" comprende 5 temas de 17 minutos y encuentra a Reche forjando una nueva propuesta - menos en el ambient-drone-, centrado tanto en los retazos y microscópicos sonidos, como en aquellos ruidos reunidos en distintas capas, creando tensión entre los sutiles timbres y los ásperos rangos dinámicos altos.

This is a new release of Argentinean experimental artist Pablo Reche on Madrid’s based Con-V label on a 3" CD-R format in a limited run of 50 numbered copies.
"Conexión EP" comprised 5 tracks of 17 minutes and finds Reche forging a new proposal - less ambient drone like, focused on both snippets and microscopic sounds and multi-layered processed noises, creating tension between subtle timbres and harsh high dynamic range.

So far the work of Pablo Reche has extended mostly in the areas of noise music. Loud but always with a sense of field recordings. Here on his new 3"CDR 'Conexion' it seems that he makes a better balance between the noise and the sources, in this case field recordings. The noise still there, but its pushed back in favor of the fields. In 'Camp' the line hum of a broken cable is the source, and on top Ikeda/Alva Noto like signals make interferences. In 'Golu' things are turned down with static hiss being processed to a lower point. Mechanical, motorized objects seem to have his strong interest as shown in these tracks, but it seems to me, even when I don't picture his entire discography in front of me right away, the balance between the pure noise elements and making things more musical prevails here, and it marks, I think a big step ahead.
